REASON FOR EXTENSION OF CUBAN STA

JCE LICENSES, L.L.C., LICENSEE OF RADIO STATION WMEN(AM), ROYAL PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, HEREBY RESPECTFULLY REQUESTS THE EXTENSION OF ITS SPECIAL TEMPORARY AUTHORITY ('STA') MOST RECENTLY EXTENDED BY FCC LETTER OF MARCH 19, 2007. THE STATION OPERATES WITH INCREASED POWER TO OVERCOME THE EFFECTS OF CUBAN INTERFERENCE. SUCH INTERFERENCE CONTINUES UNABATED. THUS, WJNA REQUESTS THAT THE STA BE EXTENDED FOR THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE AMOUNT OF TIME, OR UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE CUBAN INTERFERENCE ENDS.
