Description:
BASIS FOR STA EXTENSION REQUEST

SUBSTANTIAL PROGRESS HAS BEEN MADE TOWARDS RESTORING OPERATION OF WNBF TO LICENSED PARAMETERS. SINCE THE LAST STA EXTENSION WAS GRANTED, ADJUSTMENTS WERE MADE TO THE ANTENNA TUNING UNITS TO ENSURE PROPER MATCHING OF THE NETWORKS TO THE TRANSMISSION LINE. A NUMBER OF ADJUSTMENTS WERE MADE TO THE PHASE AND LOOP PARAMETERS WITH EACH CHANGE FOLLOWED UP WITH FIELD MEASUREMENTS ALONG THE MONITORED RADIALS. ONCE THE ARRAY WAS IN A SATISFACTORY ADJUSTMENT, FINAL MEASUREMENTS WERE TAKEN ALONG THE MONITORED RADIALS AND TABULATED IN THE PARTIAL PROOF PRESENTLY SUBMITTED. TOWER IMPEDANCES AND BASE CURRENTS WERE ALSO TAKEN AND RECORDED. ON FEBRUARY 1, 2010, AN APPLICATION REQUESTING DIRECT MEASUREMENT OF POWER (FCC FILE NO. BZ-20100201AHN)WAS FILED. UPON GRANT OF THE DIRECT MEASUREMENT APPLICATION, THE STA WILL NO LONGER BE NECESSARY AND WILL BE SUBMITTED FOR CANCELLATION.
