EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES

WSUA REQUESTS AN EXTENSION OF OPERATING WITH PARAMETERS AT VARIANCE FOR ITS DAY AND NIGHT DIRECTIONAL ANTENNA SYSTEMS. POWER WILL BE REDUCED IF NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN MONITOR POINTS WITHIN LIMITS. AFTER MONITORING AND EXTENSIVE TROUBLESHOOTING OF THE SYSTEM WITH THE STATION'S OUTSIDE CONSULTANT DURING THE PERIOD OF THE INITIAL STA, IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THE TOWER 2 BASE INSULATOR IS IN NEED OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT. WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF DETERMINING HOW BEST TO PROCEED WITH THE NECESSARY ACTION.
