TOWNSQUARE MEDIA MONMOUTH-OCEAN LICENSE, LLC RESPECTFULLY REQUESTS SPECIAL TEMPORARY AUTHORITY TO OPERATE BOTH DAY AND AND NIGHTTIME PARAMETERS AT REDUCED POWER AND/OR AT VARIANCE WHILE MAINTAINING ITS MONITOR POINT LIMITS.

CROWN CASTLE, OWNER OF THE STATION'S TOWERS, RECENTLY COMPLETED A TOWER BASE REINFORCEMENT AND GUY WIRE RELOCATION PROJECT FOR TWO OF THE STATION'S TOWERS. UNFORTUNATELY, DAMAGE OCCURRED TO THE GROUND SYSTEM FOR ONE OF THE TOWERS, AND POST-CONSTRUCTION MEASUREMENTS REVEAL ANTENNA PATTERN DISTURBANCE. LICENSEE IS PRESENTLY AWAITING TOWER OWNERS REPAIRS TO THE GROUND SYSTEM AND THE COMPLETION OF A PARTIAL PROOF OF PERFORMANCE.

THEREFORE, TOWNSQUARE RESPECTFULLY REQUESTS SPECIAL TEMPORARY AUTHORITY TO OPERATE WOBM WITH DAYTIME AND NIGHTTIME WITH PARAMETERS AT VARIANCE WHILE MAINTAINING MONITOR POINTS PENDING COMPLETION OF ENGINEERING TO REQUEST NEW PARAMETERS REQUIRED BY THE PHYSICAL CHANGES TO THE TOWERS. TOWNSQUARE WILL PROMPTLY NOTIFY THE COMMISSION AS SOON AS THE STATION IS ABLE TO RESUME LICENSED OPERATIONS.

BASIS FOR FURTHER STA EXTENSION

OVER THE PRECEDING TERM OF THE STA, THE TOWER OWNER ATTEMPTED TO CORRECT AN ISSUE WITH ITS GUY WIRES WHICH WAS IMPACTING THE IMPEDANCE OF STATION'S ANTENNA. THESE ATTEMPTS TO MITIGATE THE GUY WIRE ISSUES WERE UNSUCCESSFUL, HOWEVER. LICENSEE IS WORKING WITH THE TOWER OWNER TO SCHEDULE FURTHER REPAIR ATTEMPTS.
