REASON FOR STA

RADIO STATION KWFR IS OPERATING UNDER AN STA, FCC FILE NO. BSTA-20140624ABU WHICH AUTHORIZES OPERATION AT LOW POWER PENDING COMPLETION OF MAIN TRANSMITTER REPAIRS. IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT THE TRANSMITTER IS OPERATING NORMALLY, THE LICENSEE HAS REQUESTED THAT A FACTORY REPRESENTATIVE PERFORM FINAL EQUIPMENT TESTS AND THAT REPRESENTATIVE IS NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL AFTER SEPTEMBER 29, 2014. THE CURRENT STA EXPIRES ON SEPTEMBER 26, 2014 AND THE LICENSEE IS REQUESTING AN EXTENSION OF THE EXISTING STA FOR AN ADDITIONAL 90 DAYS. IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE FACTORY INSPECTION OF THE TRANSMITTER WILL BE COMPLETED WITHIN THE ADDITIONAL STA PERIOD.
