Description:
RESPONSE

THE LICENSEE REQUESTS AN EXTENSION OF ITS STA ON ORDER TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE TO THE STATION'S FACILITIES AT ITS TRANSMITTER SITE. THE STATION HAS HAD TO REDUCE ITS POWER LEVEL TO 480 WATTS IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN SERVICE WHILE UNDERTAKING REPAIRS.

DURING THE CURRENT STA PERIOD, THE LICENSEE RETAINED AN ELECTRONICS REPAIR GROUP TO UNDERTAKE THE NECESSARY WORK. HOWEVER, THE GROUP WAS UNABLE TO FIX ALL OF THE EQUIPMENT. THE LICENSEE THEN SOUGHT TO OBTAIN A REPLACEMENT BAY FROM THE MANUFACTURER, BUT FOUND THAT THE MANUFACTURER WAS NO LONGER IN BUSINESS. THE LICENSEE IS NOW SEEKING AN ALTERNATIVE MEANS TO REPAIR THE REMAINING UNREPAIRED EQUIPMENT.

IN ORDER TO ALLOW FOR CONTINUED SERVICE TO THE LISTENING PUBLIC, IT IS REQUESTED THAT AN EXTENSION OF TEH STA BE GRANTED.
