Description:
NEED FOR STA

KKMX'S TRANSMITTER FAILED AND THE STATION CAN ONLY MAINTAIN 250 WATTS POWER. TRANSMITTER REPAIRS HAVE BEEN DELAYED BECAUSE OF SUPPLY CHAIN ISSUES IN RECEIVING PARTS. THE LICENSEE ALSO RECEIVED A NOTICE FROM THE TOWER OWNER GIVING THE LICENSEE A NOTICE TO DELAY PROCEEDING WITH REPAIRS CAUSING FURTHER DELAY. IN ADDITION, THE LICENSEE NEEDS TO REPLACE THE CO-AX CABLE LEADING TO THE TRANSMITTER. TOO MUCH REFLECTIVE POWER IN THE CABLE LEADING TO THE TRANSMITTER CAUSED IT TO FAIL. MORE TIME IS NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE REPAIRS IN ORDER TO RESUME OPERATING WITH FULL LICENSED POWER. THE LICENSEE WILL NOTIFY THE FCC WHEN THE STATION CAN RESUME LICENSED OPERATIONS.
