FILING INSTRUCTIONS

Broadcast station licensees are required to afford equal employment opportunity to all qualified persons and to refrain from discriminating in employment and related benefits on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, and sex. Pursuant to these requirements, a license renewal applicant whose station employment unit employs five or more full-time station employees must file a report of its activities to ensure equal employment opportunity. If a station employment unit is filing a combined report, a copy of the report must be filed with each station's renewal application.

A copy of this report must be kept in the station's public file. These actions are required to obtain license renewal. Failure to meet these requirements may result in sanctions or license renewal being delayed or denied. These requirements are contained in 47 C.F.R. Section 73.2080 and are authorized by the Communications Act of 1934, as amended.

The purpose of this document is to provide broadcast licensees, the FCC, and the public with information about whether the station is meeting equal employment opportunity requirements.

GENERAL POLICY
A broadcast station must provide equal employment opportunity to all qualified individuals without regard to their race, color, national origin, religion or sex in all personnel actions including recruitment, evaluation, selection, promotion, compensation, training and termination.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR IMPLEMENTATION
A broadcast station must assign a particular official overall responsibility for equal employment opportunity at the station. That official's name and title are:

IN ORDER TO INSURE THAT CAJUN COMMUNICATIONS OF TEXAS CONTINUES TO OFFER EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO ALL PERSONS A SPECIFIC PLAN HAS BE IMPLEMENTED.

THE PLAN IS UNDER THE DIRECT SUPERVISION OF THE COMPANYS BUSINESS MANAGER WHO ASSURES THAT THE PLAN IS FOLLOWED. IF FOR SOME REASON THIS PLAN IS NOT FOLLOWED THE CEO OF THE COMPANY IS INFORMED AND THE PERSON VIOLATING THE PROCEDURE IS WRITTEN UP AND GIVEN DUE WARNING ACCORDING TO THE COMPANYS WRITTEN POLICIES A PROCEDURE OUTLINE. REPEATED INFRACTIONS COULD LEAD TO DISMISSAL.

REGULAR MEETINGS WITH THE CEO AND ALL DEPARTMENT HEADS KEEPS ALL INFORMED OF HOW THE PLAN IS WORKING AND OF WHAT OPENINGS MAYBE COMING UP IN THE FUTURE IN THE COMPANY. THE PLAN IS CONSTANTLY EVOLVING AS ADDITIONAL SOURCES OF INTERESTED APPLICANTS AND ORGANIZATIONS ARE FOUND. THE SOURCES ARE ADDED TO OUR LIST OF PLACES TO LIST OUR JOB OPENINGS. THE SOURCES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ALEXANDRIA DAILY TOWN TALK; THE DAILY NEWSPAPER; BROADCAST ANNOUNCEMENTS ON ALL OF OUR RADIO STATIONS, LOCAL UNIVERSITIES AND SCHOOLS, TRADE PUBLICATIONS, STATEWIDE AND NATIONAL, ON THE INTERNET AND OUR RADIO STATIONS WEBSITES.

SINCE THE COMPANY HAS MANY DIFFERENT JOBS WHICH REQUIRE DIFFERENT SKILLS THAT ARE MANY TIMES UNIQUE TO THE BROADCAST BUSINESS AND SOME THAT ARE COMMON ARE GENERAL BUSINESS SKILLS NEEDED. THE RADIO BUSINESS IS EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE AND REQUIRES CERTAIN SKILL LEVELS THAT ARE ESSENTIAL FOR THE BUSINESS TO MAINTAIN A POSITIVE FINANCIAL POSITION IN THIS MARKET PLACE. TRAINED PROFESSIONALS AND THEIR UNIQUE SKILLS AND TALENTS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT TO CAJUN COMMUNICATIONS CONTINUED SUCCESS. THEREFORE, WE ARE COMMITTED TO AN INTERN PROGRAM THAT OFFERS ENTRY LEVEL OPPORTUNITIES TO ALL INTEREST PARTIES REGARDLESS OF RACE, SEX OR AGE OR EXPERIENCE. WE DO HAVE A LIMITED AMOUNT OF THESE POSITIONS SINCE IT IS QUITE TIME CONSUMING TO TRAIN PEOPLE FOR THESE HIGHLY SKILLS POSITIONS.
